Equipped, empowered, and anointed are just a few words that describe Karen Anderson Hardaway. She is rightfully called Fireball because of her zeal and love for God. She is also a woman of prayer and faith. She is an ordained minister of the gospel. She serves in ministry with her husband and pastor, Rev. Dr. Jimmie Hardaway, Jr., as a Pastoral Assistant at Trinity Baptist Church of Niagara Falls, NY. She is presently employed with the University at Buffalo as a Grant Manager for the Jacobs School of Medicine on the downtown campus.
Dr. Hardaway’s message is encouragement, inspiration, conviction, repentance, and information. She preached her trial sermon titled “Being Emotionally Busted” in September 2004. She also ministers to hurting people and those broken in the Body of Christ. Specifically, she ministers to the neglected, depressed, discouraged, and those in pain from emotional and physical abuse - all of which she has experienced. Her life is a testimony that “God is a God of second chances.” Truly, God has anointed and chosen her to heal the brokenhearted and bring deliverance to those in bondage. Furthermore, she is commissioned by God to be a prophet to the nations, to decree, and to declare the word of God.
She is the author of three books: Broken Into Pieces, A Woman and Her Ministry, and I Preach, and I Pose. (All Available on Amazon.com).
Dr. Hardaway graduated from high school in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and has attended Virginia State University and Westchester Community College, majoring in Business Administration. She earned an Associate in Religious Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary of Camila, Georgia. However, her latest academic achievements are earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Studies, magna cum laude (2018) and a Master of Arts Degree in Theological Studies (2020) from Liberty University. In November 2023, she completed all the requirements to earn her Doctor of Ministry. Dr. Hardaway has studied to show herself approved by God to edify His kingdom.
Dr. Hardaway is the proud daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Robert Allen Anderson, Sr., and Mrs. Mary Anderson. She is the mother of two adult children, Nonnie, to four grandchildren, and she is also a stepmom and a step-grandmother.
Psalm 34:1 says, “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” This is one of Rev. Hardaway’s favorite passages of scripture.
“Hear Ye the Word of the Lord!”
